This character is inspired by mythology and modeled in 3Ds Max.
Female Ninja
This is a character for a game concept from Ryhnoware, an in-school development team, for a game called Ninjas With Asthma. I modeled the character using 3Ds Max from found reference photos and the designers description.
Character Model - Duck
This model was done in 3Ds Max. I studied multiple photos of ducks as a reference for this model. I tried to evoke a sense of realism . The duck took about a day to model.
Character Model - Lolita
This is the second character I designed and modeled. I used Autodesk Maya 9 to model the character. The character expresses my love for Japaneses Lolita fashion. It took about three days to model this character.
Character Model - Leonard :Fly:
Leonard :Fly: is the main Character for Q-Boy, a game developed by Earthquake Dynamics. The
character was modeled with 3D Studio Max 9 from the concept art, as part of my internship at Earthquake Dynamics during September to November 2009. My mentor for my internship was owner, producer, and lead designer at Earthquake Dynamics, James "DJ Quake" Cottrell. Concept art by Tyrus Goshy.
Flying Machine
Flying Machine is a steampunk style Jet pack. I originally came up with the design as a peripheral for a game counsel. The character within the game would wear the similar jet pack to fly around the map, the player would control the character by moving their body and using the controls on the peripheral jet pack. I modeled this jet pack within a couple hours using 3Ds Max.
Street Signs
These street signs were used in racing game concept that was made in my Game Project 3 class at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago, IL. The signs were modeled in 3Ds Max and textured in Photoshop.
Office Supplies
Office supplies are commonly found junk items in games like Fallout 3, Modern Warfare 2, Bioshock 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum and many others. I used different techniques to get a realistic look to the models such as shapes, loft, NURBS, primitive objects, and extruding.
